Hello, and welcome to Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 2025. Believe it or not, this is our 25th year! We're looking forward to making it the best yet.

This site was built specifically for those artists who have received written confirmation that they will be performing with us this year. All of your necessary contacts and info can found here or on the pages listed above. If you have any immediate questions or wish to advance the show, please contact our production staff. Thanks, we're looking forward to working with you.

Production - The production advancing duties for Hardly Strictly Bluegrass are split between Ryan Smith (Banjo, Swan, & Towers of Gold Stages), and Frank Gibbs (Rooster, Arrow, & Horseshoe Hill Stages).

Please fill out our ARTIST ADVANCE QUESTIONNAIRE which will prompt you to input your backline requests, your traveling band and crew personnel, as well as a copy of your most current stage plot and input list.

We will be following up with you in the coming weeks but feel free to get in touch with Ryan or Frank if you have immediate questions.

Backline Requests
While some of you may be traveling with gear, we prefer to provide backline whenever possible as changeover is limited to maximize the artist set times. Please upload any backline requirements to the Artist Advance Questionnaire. If you do not have a backline document there is a template to fill out on the questionnaire.

Ground Transportation & Parking – Because our festival site is closed to vehicles on show days we have very limited parking. If you are staying at a hotel that is provided by the festival, please contact Bonnie Simmons to arrange ground transportation. Please note: Our ground transport does not extend beyond SFO or Oakland International Airports.

If you are driving to the festival site please note, Parking passes are limited to one per band, if you need more please contact your HSB Production Manager immediately and indicate your needs on the ARTIST ADVANCE QUESTIONNAIRE. Please note that there is no overnight parking in Golden Gate Park.

If you are driving all artists please enter the fest at:

Enter the fest at 36th Ave. and Fulton and our security will direct you to credentials. If you need more detailed instructions please let your HSB production manager know when you advance your performance.

Please let us know in advance if you wish to make other arrangements. For your convenience, we have a blank W9 you can download here. Please fill it out and send it back to Your HSB Production Manager or upload it to the Artist Advance Questionnaire.
